Maybe a bit washed out, if you have a "Beach" setting on your camera it might be worth a try.

Silvia: Beautiful beach shot. Nice composition. Perhaps the sand in the foreground is a bit washed out but otherwise a very nice photograph. Where is this beach? I am jealous, is cold here.
